Why does the “Custom Question Dialog Box” appear during my presentation?

The “Custom Question Dialog Box” could be the result of two different things.

1. The F5 key was pressed. F5 is the TurningPoint shortcut for a custom question or slide on the fly.

2. You are using a wireless presenter and pressed the button on the presenter to activate the laser pointer. The wireless presenter binds the laser feature with F5, thus activating the TurningPoint shortcut for a custom question. At this time most wireless presenters work well with TurningPoint and PowerPoint with the exception of the Kensington brand. This unfortunately, is hard coded and we are unaware of a workaround at this time.

This has been resolved in TurningPoint 4.3.1.1109.
