HID Receiver working intermittently

Issue

If an HID Receiver is not working consistently please ensure that the HID Input Services is started in Computer Management.

Resolution

This will require IT support if the user does not have access to make these changes.

1. Open the Computer Management screen.
Control Panel => Administrative Tools => Computer Management
2. Click the plus to the left of Services and Applications.
3. Select Services.
4. Locate HID Input Service and ensure the Status is set to Started or Enabled.
