Office 2010 Crashes after clicking a hyperlink

Issue

Clicking on a hyperlink in any PowerPoint or TurningPoint slide will cause PowerPoint to crash when the next TurningPoint slide is polled and the chart is displayed.

There are 2 work-arounds available to work around this issue.
1. Open the hyperlinks prior to running the presenation.
Do not click a hyperlink to open the page. Instead copy and paste the hyperlink into a browser.
These slides will not crash PowerPoint even when you click a hyperlink.
2. Use a free add-in called LiveWeb.

Note: Responses Only slides used to avoid the crash, but there were some security updates to Office 2010 that causes the crash even with the Responses Only slides. We are currently researching to see which specific update is causing the conflict.
