You receive an AppleScript Error while generating reports in TurningPoint Mac.

Running Word reports under a managed account may cause AppleScript errors if the managed account denies access to the "System Events" application. The script that copies the participant list into Word and formats the document requires access to the "System Events" application to determine if Word is already running. That information is critical for execution of the script. If it is denied access to the script, the script then cannot compile and will error out.

There are two ways to allow Reports to run under this environment. Either one works and it is up to the administrator to choose what method to use.

1. Under the effected account's "Finder & System" parental controls, check the box that says "Allow supporting programs".

2. Under the list of allowed applications (also in the account's "Finder & System" parental controls) add the "System Events" application. The application is at "/System/Library/CoreServices/System Events.app" and will need to be located manually.
